Board choice matters more than people expect. Bathrooms and utility rooms want moisture-resistant board; a cold external wall wants insulated board at the right thickness for the room. Standard board in the wrong place is a problem you don't notice until it's a problem.
I board and finish in one go, so you get a wall ready to decorate rather than a wall ready for someone else.

Common questions about dry lining & boarding
Is dry lining better than plastering?
Different jobs. Dry lining is faster, drier and works where the existing wall is beyond saving or runs cold. Traditional plastering suits solid walls that are sound. On a damp or cold external wall, insulated board is usually the better answer.
Can you build a stud wall?
Yes, stud partitions to split a room, including door openings and any sound insulation you want in the void.
Will it help with a cold room?
Insulated plasterboard on a cold external wall makes a noticeable difference and is far less disruptive than external insulation. I'll advise on thickness, thicker isn't always better, since you lose floor area.
Do I need it taped or skimmed?
Tape-and-joint just fills the seams and is cheaper. A full skim gives you one continuous surface with no risk of joints showing through paint later. For a room you'll live in I'd skim it.
Can you board a bathroom?
Yes, with moisture-resistant board throughout and the tiling areas left flat and keyed rather than polished, because tile adhesive needs something to grip.
